We Will Meet Again: And he made good on his word come "Lady and Peebles". Villain Team-Up: With Gumbald in "Gumbaldia". Vile Villain, Saccharine Show: Ricardio is not only a blood covered giant organ with a scary looking face and hideous biomechanical limbs, he's also the closest thing to a rapist they could get away with having in a kid's show. It doesn't help the fact that his character is very subjective to sociopaths who are sexual predators. In his few appearances, we can note that he has exceptional superficial charm, is deeply obsessed with the Princess, and would break any ethical or moral standards to get closer to his targets. The Sociopath: Ricardio meets all the criteria of a true sociopath. Smug Snake: He is Feigning Intelligence, as detailed above. Nonstandard Character Design: Has a more detailed face than other characters. In "Come Along With Me", he escapes the war against GOLB. Karma Houdini: One of the few villains in the series whose whereabouts is completely unknown. He's just an utter asshole without redeeming traits. Unlike other redeemed villains such as Ice King, Lemongrab or Magic Man, his villainy is not the product of a tragic backstory. Hate Sink: Easily one of the most despicable characters in the series. Might want to change your pants afterward ◊. Ricardio: Now I'm going to cut out Princess Bubblegum's heart and make out with it. This is pointed out by Princess Bubblegum when he holds her hostage: He's not as smart as he likes to think. Faux Affably Evil: Puts up a polite front, but is anything but. Granted, it isn't that hard, but he's still pretty scary. Eviler than Thou: He's eviler than the Ice King. Evil Sounds Deep: Given who he's voiced by, it's to be expected. Evil Is Visceral: He's a living heart, for starters. Both want Princess Bubblegum and are antagonists, but the Ice King is a sympathetic Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain while Ricardio is an unsympathetic creep who tries to take her heart out. The Bus Came Back: Returns in the final season as part of Gumbald's army. Break the Haughty: Princess Bubblegum thoroughly wrecks him in their fight in "Lady and Peebles". 
Big Ol' Eyebrows: Has these despite being an internal organ.Beat Still, My Heart: His existence in a nutshell.Asshole Victim: He gets zero sympathy from the audience when Bubblegum finally wrecks him.Art Evolution: Compare his appearance ◊ in season 1's "Ricardio the Heart Guy" to his return ◊ in season 4's "Lady and Peebles".And Now You Must Marry Me: In "Lady and Peebles", he tells Princess Bubblegum that he wants to be "united as man and wife" with her.He's actually the Ice King's heart, granted sentience by a love spell gone wrong. A brainy creature resembling a walking, talking heart.
