The free Command And Conquer: Generals Evolution mod for Windows breathes new life into what is rapidly becoming an evergreen title. It adds new units and abilities, as many as Zero Hour did, but improves on the Zero Hour experience by refining certain concepts that made that mod so popular. This latest Beta version of the add-on brings even more to the game. A total of 12 factions further extends the lifespan of one of the best and most iconic strategy games ever made. Playability has now been enhanced by including the three factions of Generals and also sub-dividing those factions into subfractions. This mod is so good that users have scored it a massive 9.6 out of a possible 10. The new skirmish maps and tech trees are only the tip of the mod iceberg.
